Guy Garibian Animator & Designer

When I was 5 years old, I was exposed to a television program about the production process of classic animated films. I loved watching cartoons as a child, but my impressions were overtaken by the aforementioned TV show. The show was about various stages of the production process, starting from the beginning steps of pencil on paper, which than evolved into what seemed a magical transformation of a sequence of animated illustrations that came to life. I never considered animation as a profession while growing up, but when the time came to choose the direction of college study, I realized that Animation was the only subject that I was passionate about.

I completed four years at the University of “Bezalel”, and animated the short film “Full Moon” as my final animation project. Today, I am a freelancer in animation, illustration and design. My work often portrays human nature in a way that is delivered by the personification of animal. I love to challenge myself by diversifying, innovating and constantly experimenting by incorporating different techniques. I strive to create a uniform visual language that is well designed and aesthetic.
